Here are some pictures from the last few days. We’ve done a little bit of driving and visited the Daintree Rainforest (one of the oldest rain forests in the world) and the Milla Milla Waterfalls at the Atherton Tablelands.
I don’t know the name of this little spider crawling along a handrail but what a good camouflage. Nearly touched on it.
The beautiful Milla Milla Waterfalls.
Stunning sunrise as seen from the Kuranda Range Lookout.
A short visit to the wetlands.
The tropics region is home to 43 species of snakes, representing an impressive 30% of Australia’s snake fauna. This beautiful python can grow up to six metres in length. Lucky to get a shot like this. 🙂
A hollow twisted fig tree as seen from the inside.
A beautiful mix of clouds, blue sky, ocean and the Daintree Rainforest. In the distance you can see the Daintree River.
Rainy days but we had a great drive and a fantastic time. 🙂
